Little bag and Easel cards

It's been a while since I used my scallop circle Nesties and now that I've found them at the bottom of my craft "heap" I'll probably use them for weeks to come now lol!
I've used them to make a cute little bag card by adding some ribbon as a handle and a tassle. It's pretty small but cute,I think
It's entered into the CRAFT challenge where the theme this week is "shaped cards"

Obviously I've been making up for lost time! This time it's an easel card made with gorgeous Basic Grey paper and a DIY flower made from circle punches and Martha Stewart doily border punch.
This is for the following challenges,
Creative Inspirations...Easel card
My Time To Craft...Ruby,Ruby
Daring Cardmakers..Easel does it

One for Ben!

Today I have a card which I made for a great young boy who has just become a big brother for the first time! I know how big brothers sometimes get left out in the card and present area so this is one I made to make him feel special..

I'm entering it into the Stamptacular challenge where the theme is "spots and dots"

A new drawing! Kingfisher

As you know, my crafting time is very limited at the moment, but I had to make a couple of Get Well cards for male neighbours who are ill. It has taken ages to actually get a card finished but this is the first one and I used a drawing which I did lately of a kingfisher. I find it difficult to come up with images for men's cards so when I drew this I knew it would come in very useful. Once I get my act together I'll be addiing it to my digi image collection for sale on my blog..
Let me know what you think of it as I've been working on some other bird drawings.
I used a Sizzix Cattails die on the inside
I love the contrast of the colours on the bird...created with Promarkers.
I'm entering it into
Stamp, Scrap and Doodle....wings
Secret Crafter...how does your garden grow?
Totally Papercrafts..... Digital image

Crafty Calendar Challenge

April already!! I just about managed to get a card made on time for the Crafty Calendar Challenge where the theme this month is "humorous" with the option of adding embossing.
I made a tall card and drew the giraffe hoping the sentiment is pretty obvious (high!)
I haven't been able to craft (or anything else) lately as my mum has been ill and needs a lot of care but I managed to grab some card and come up with this one on a quick scurry through my stash and took it with me.
My mum is now recovering slowly so things are less tense. She can walk to the living room with the aid of a rolater and can feed herself (slowly!!) so progress can be seen. I hope she makes much more progress as she seems determined to try but is so easily exhausted.
Thanks for all your messages of concern.

I had a quick look through some challenge blogs and found that this card also fits the following challenges..
Truly Scrumptious.....sketch
Color Throwdown..yoyo yellow,garden green,soft suede
Crafty Creations....anything goes
