Win & Tonic August Challenge

So it's time for another challenge over at the Win and Tonic Monthly Challenge Blog - and of course you can enter to be in with a chance of winning a fabulous prize. Just follow the link to the Challenge Blog to see all the details :)
This is my card for the "Christmas is Coming" theme and I've used the Tonic Studios Navy Dazzle Pearlised card and Freshwater Pearls Handcrafted Cotton Paper for the background. On top I've used the Mixed Edge Ovals Layering Basics Die Set, Reindeer Family Trio and A Very Merry Christmas dies.

This time I've used the Dovecraft Premium "Time to Sparkle" collection from Trimcraft which includes papers, embellishments and coordinating dies.

Sweet Nothings Envelope - Tonic Studios

Good morning - it's another beautiful sunny day so I think I'll be working outside as much as possible :)
Before I disappear for a while, here's a little envelope which I made using the Tonic Studios Sweet Nothings "Surprise Bouquet" die set. I added a flower made with the Woodland aster dies and a Mini Moment "for you" on top.

I highlighted the flower and sentiment with the Aqua Flow Glitter Gloss pens.

Wonderland 3D frame - Trimcraft

Looks like it's time to share another Christmas creation I had made :) I used the Dovecraft Wonderland 8x8 decoupage pad with some glitter stickers and gems from Trimcraft for this little frame. The new Christmas collections from Trimcraft will be available soon in Ireland (north and south) so I'll keep you posted :)

Roadside flowers - Co. Donegal

A lovely sight just as you turn a corner on the road. I think it's at Annagry but I need to check :)

Demo at Easons, Belfast last Saturday

There was a lot going on in Belfast on Saturday so I wasn't sure who would be able to come for the demo in Easons, so I was delighted to see all who made it and we had a lovely time together doing some cardmaking, chalk painting, decoupage and colouring with Promarkers.
Thanks so much to everyone who came and to Gerard the store manager who made me so welcome.

At 3 1/2 months old, I think this is the cutest little lady to ever come to a demo! She stayed all day and was a little dream :)

George and the Dragon die set - Tonic Studios

Hello :) I've used the brand new George and the Dragon die set from Tonic Studios to make this little 3D creation. I've cut out the window and dorr apertures so I can add a battery tea light. This is definitely one of those sets which sparks the imagination - so many different ways to use it :)

How many ways to fold/ cut the same basic square card..

Have you ever just taken a basic square card and tried to find as many ways as possible of using the same thing to create different results? Well, I've been making myself some mini templates to use with different coordinating papers etc and am finding it hard to stop! Some are very basic and others have quite a little bit of folding and cutting but they all come from the same square. The one at the back right is made up of two cards joined together.

Demo in Easons, Sat 5th Aug

Here goes again :) I've had a little break from demoing over the summer but I'm ready to roll again. If anyone is free, I'll be demoing Promarkers, Trimcraft and Plaid Chalk Paint (cardmaking and craft)  in Easons, Donegall Place, Belfast on Saturday 5th Aug. Looking forward to seeing some of you again :)

Issue 173 (September) of Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine

This is one of a set of 4 cards which I made for issue 173 of Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine with gorgeous Copper Luxury papers and Tonic Studios dies. Can't wait to stop for coffee and have a look inside :)
